About Us

Jill and Gareth Llewellyn Williams

Having lived in the Ogmore Valley, in south Wales, for 33 years, we decided to fulfil a long-term ambition by moving to rural France.

We relocated Seren Soaps to a village that we have come to know well over many years: Suilly-la-Tour in the Loire region of western Burgundy. It's here that we discovered the delightful Chèvrerie de la Fillouse, where we buy our goats' milk and transform it into mild and nourishing soaps. We also produce soaps for the famous oil mill at Donzy, the Huilerie du Moulin de l'Ile, which produces delicious walnut and hazelnut oils.

In France, we sell our soaps through a number of local commercial outlets such as farm shops, tourist offices and also from our home at Suilly-la-Tour.

We have kept a base in Wales, relocating to Jill's hometown, Swansea. We'll continue to make our soaps available in the UK through carefully selected retail outlets in south Wales.

For further details of where to buy our soaps, see Our Stockists in the menu.
